EASYRIDERS SMC 35th YEAR ANNIVERSARY
2010 @ EVANS HEADS
Founded 26th October 1975 by three brothers John, Dougie (Dec) and Pedro the Founding National President at Evans Heads on the far north coast of N.S.W as a mark of respect for their lost brother Gordy (Dec)
In the Interest of ALL Easyrider members, and families, a list of guidelines, rules and procedures have been put into place to make our social club better for everyone.
As we have grown rapidly over the past few years, our founding members have decided to list what is EXPECTED of all our members.
We are a SOCIAL MOTORCYCLE CLUB and not associated with any 1% or Outlaw clubs or their business. We as a club and as individuals respect other clubs and their members, and in turn receive the same.
Easyriders Australia is a family orientated club where family and friends are always welcomed and encouraged to join in wherever they can, generally the more the merrier!
Joining Easyriders will cost you nothing .In return for membership into Easyriders, you will not be expected to do anything you can make it what you want, however, you will be asked to show everyone the same respect as you yourself would want, as bad publicity or ANY OTHER NEGATIVE ISSUES will not be appreciated or for that matter tolerate
Easyriders Australia emblems, patches, logo’s or any other items bearing the club logo and name remain the property of the club, and as such we reserve the right to reclaim any of these items should anyone be found to misuse them or bring unwanted attention to our social club.
If anyone is found being detrimental to Easyriders in any way shape or form you will not be welcome, any club identifying items, such as patches or shirts will also be returned by you to the club. Pretty simple, do the right thing and you will enjoy the mateship of great people and great times, don’t and it will be YOU that will miss out.
Check out the Easyriders website for upcoming events, then make contact with local branches, where you can attend rides and meet the ‘members’.
(1) Membership is something that is earned and not just taken for granted. We expect members to be committed to their faith, family, and the club.
(2) Attend some more rides/functions and decide if Easyriders is the club for you.
(3) After 4 rides/gatherings/events or 4 months, you will be considered to receive club logo for the front of your vest or jacket.
(4) After 12 months and continued support of Easyriders Australia, you will then be considered for the full club ‘insignia’
(5) At any time you can come along for rides and social events, and at no time required to wear our club logo’s, however, for recognition out on the roads and at various events (both local and interstate) it helps other members identify you and bond us as a club.
(6) We are a Social Mates Club with a non denominational faith ALL WELCOME and operate on the basis that if you wish to participate in any activity that is happening you will be welcome. No one is pushed to do anything that they do not want to be involved in.
(7) If a member is continuously doing the wrong thing , we ask that they be honest with themselves and God by turning their patch in to their local chapter . The chapter will hold on to it until they get their life straightened out again. We do not conduct inquisitions into people’s lives and we do not judge or condemn others (Luke 6). We don’t threaten people or forcibly remove items
